Job Details
- Pay: $29.00 per hour!
- Shift Schedule: 5x/week - Monday - Friday
- Shift Times: Varies; 7:45a - 4:15p, 8a - 4:30p, 8:30a - 5p
- Start Date: ASAP!

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Typing speed of 30 WPM
- 1 - 2 years administrative, clerical, or customer service experience
- Strong data entry skills with ability to use multiple computer programs simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, sensitive environment
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (phones, scanners, filing systems), computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience working with patient registration
- Previous experience with Ambra
Preferred:
- AA degree
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Previous lab experience (highly preferred)
- EPIC experience (highly preferred)
- Experience in quality or compliance-related administrative support

Job Requirements:
- Greeting and Assistance: Greet patients, complete registration check-in & Check-out, verify insurance information is accurate, and assist with questions about appointments, payments, billing, and schedules.
- Patient Escalations: Identifies and resolves simple escalations, provides service recovery where appropriate. Escalate complex issues as defined by clinic specific pathways.
- Referral Management & Appointment Scheduling: Track and manage incoming referrals and schedule appointments for patients in a timely manner. Adhere to scheduling instructions, referral guidelines, and insurance eligibility.
- Telephone and Messaging: Handles a significant volume of inbound and outbound patient calls, efficiently takes and routes messages, and manages patient correspondence.
- Documentation Management: Manage faces, mail, file documentation, and maintain databases.
- Systems Use: Process forms and utilize phone and electronic medical records systems.
- Professional Communication: Maintain communication with PAS staff, medical center/clinic staff, physicians, and patients.
- Provider Coordination: Communicate scheduling preferences and urgent needs with providers.
- Scan insurance cards and coordinate patient care.
