Description: Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to perform advanced vocational nursing services at a state-supported living facility in Denton County, Texas. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide care, treatment, and general welfare services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs.JOB QUICK FACTS: Reference #: BD-673-52 Profession: Nursing Specialty: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Location: Denton County, Texas Facility Type: Residential Living Center Job Type: Contract Contract Term: 6 months Schedule: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM 2:00 PM 10:00 PM 10:00 PM 6:00 AM Shifts may alternate to meet staffing needs Start Date: Mid-January, upon completion of all compliance and clearance requirements Compensation: $33$36/hrREQUIREMENTS: Valid, unencumbered Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience Ability to comply with facility and agency immunization requirements Ability to submit to required facility and agency drug screening and fingerprinting Must be available to start any day of the week Must allow at least five (5) days prior to the start date to complete all pre-employment processing Completion of all required facility and agency trainingRESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatments Deliver medication education and complete accurate documentation Monitor and support the general welfare of residents Perform computer data entry and electronic documentation (training provided) Comply with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards and directives
