Hematology/Oncology Physician

AnMed is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist for their state-of-the-art Cancer Center in Anderson, SC. Located along South Carolina s National Heritage Corridor, the greater Anderson area is a vibrant and rapidly growing community boasting a diverse population of approximately 185,000 residents. • Provide outpatient care with occasional hospital rounds.
• Attend to approximately 15-25 patients per day.
• Participate in practice call and cover inpatient care for Oncology patients (no weekends).
• Contribute to rebuilding the practice.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient record management.
• Access to nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP.
• Collaborate with supportive leadership and a collegial medical staff.
• Maintain Residency in the immediate local area, with relocation assistance available.

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology REQUIRED .
• SC Medical License (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED .
• Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology REQUIRED .
• Clean malpractice and license history REQUIRED .
• Active NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) REQUIRED .
• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start REQUIRED .
• Visa support for J1 or H1B candidates considered REQUIRED .

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology is highly preferred.
• Active South Carolina medical license required.
• Completion of fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology mandatory.
