Description: SEND Learning Support Assistants - Leeds
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants to work in a school environment in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals from a care background who want to gain classroom experience, or for those with existing experience supporting children and young people with SEND needs, including Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and other complex learning or medical needs.
Responsibilities
We're seeking attentive, patient, and empathetic individuals with transferable skills from care, support, or related backgrounds. Previous experience with SEND pupils is highly desirable, but a passion for making a difference is essential. Benefits
We are proud to be an inclusive employer, committed to safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and creating accessible opportunities across education. All candidates must have an Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the Update Service or willing to apply), and original qualifications must be verified before placement. Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. If you're passionate about supporting children with SEND and want to make a real impact in a school setting, we'd love to hear from you! |
