Schedule: Inpatient only; Monday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM (onsite 9:00 AM 6:00 PM, call 6:00 PM 9:00 AM daily)
Setting: Academic/Community Level I Trauma Center
Assignment Overview
- Inpatient consultative neurology care
- Case mix includes: stroke & TIA mimics, seizures/status epilepticus, encephalopathy, neuromuscular disorders, spinal cord disorders, autoimmune & paraneoplastic syndromes, nervous system infections, vestibular & neuro-ophthalmologic disorders
- Bedside lumbar punctures (perform, supervise, or assist with trainee education)
- Provide timely consultative assistance to admitting providers
- Education of residents and neurology team staff
- Patient load: patients/day
- EMR: Epic
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology Required
- Experience with lumbar punctures Required

- Work alongside neurology residents & APPs
- Provider responsible for APPs
- Teaching & supervision responsibilities included
