The Opportunity
DeTar Healthcare System and Victoria Cancer Center are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a thriving outpatient-only practice in Victoria, Texas. Just a two-minute walk from DeTar Hospital Navarro, our cancer center opened its doors three years ago and is expanding to meet growing patient demand. This is an employed opportunity with a competitive compensation package and no call responsibilities.
Practice Highlights
- Outpatient only
- Clinic schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM - Friday: Half day - No call / No weekends

- Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator - PET/CT Scanner - Aria EMR - Newly renovated space:
- 2 dedicated exam rooms for Radiation Oncology - Soon expanding to 14 infusion bays - Support team:
- 2 Hematology/Oncology physicians - 2 MAs, Receptionist - Contracted Dosimetrist & Physicist (Varian) - 2 Radiation Therapists - Bread and butter Radiation Oncology with occasional IORT (Intraoperative Radiation Therapy)
