Assignment Details

  Setting: Inpatient NICU Level III


• 
  Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM


• 
  Coverage Needs: Weekdays and/or weekends


• 
  Priority: Weekend coverage


• 
  Call: None


• 
  In-House Only: No call backs

Clinical Environment

• High-acuity Level III NICU


• Must be comfortable working alongside CNMs


• High-risk patient workload expected

Required Certifications

• 
  BLS (AHA)
  


• 
  PALS (AHA)
  


• 
  NICA membership (documentation/receipts required)

Experience Requirements (Initial Appointment)

Candidates must meet one of the following:

Option 1

• At least 50 deliveries in the past 12 months, including:




• Minimum 5 C-sections
  




• At least 25 gynecologic surgical procedures in the past 12 months, including:




• Minimum 10 major gynecologic open or endoscopic cases
  

OR

Option 2

• Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency, fellowship, or clinical research program within the past 12 months
