Position Details:
Patient Population: Serves 16 surrounding counties; regional population 200,000+
Setting: Clinic, OR, Inpatient
Responsibilities: Clinical consults, post-op rounding, surgical procedures, endoscopy, trauma/general surgery call
Required Procedures: Laparoscopic, open, and robotic surgeries; endoscopy; trauma call coverage
EMR System: GE Centricity (clinic), Cerner Powerchart (hospital) transitioning to EPIC
Support Staff: 2 physicians, 3 APPs, 1 clinical staff per physician, 2 receptionists
Days Per Month: Full-time coverage needed
On-Call/Weekends: Yes, call coverage required; weekends as needed
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified REQUIRED (will accept new grads)
Active IA License or IMLC REQUIRED
Must be available full-time REQUIRED
Malpractice must be included in rates REQUIRED
