Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult Geriatric
Setting: Hospital Coverage
Responsibilities: General vascular surgery and endovascular procedures including call coverage
Required Procedures:
Aneurysm repairs (Thoracic, Abdominal)
Arterial bypass (Peripheral)
Vascular access devices, AV shunt
Carotid artery stenting
Femoral popliteal and aortofemoral bypass
Endovenous laser therapy
Deep vein reconstructions
Treatment of PAD, gangrene, vascular malformations, and more
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 3 PSRs, 1 surgery scheduler, 2 CMAs, 1 LPN, 1 vascular tech, 2 part-time MDs, 1 practice manager
Days Per Month: TBD
On-Call/Weekends: Yes (2 4 call nights/week; weekends required)
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery Required
Active VA License & DEA Required
BLS/ACLS Required
Clean background for Temp Privs Required
