Description: ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking OB/GYN Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in CA, providing coverage in a dedicated Family Birthing Center. The role involves handling deliveries, C-sections, and emergency OB/GYN consultations in the ED. Physicians will work alongside a strong support team including anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and other OB/GYN professionals. Schedule / Availability Requirements Job Details / Responsibilities
Setting: Hospital with a Family Birthing Center and its own dedicated OR for C-sections
Average Deliveries: deliveries per month (can go up to 40)
Duties Include:
Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
OB/GYN-related ED call coverage
Performing all standard OB/GYN procedures (exact procedures TBD)
Support Staff:
On-call anesthesiologists (after hours/weekends)
3 local OB/GYNs, 1 Family Medicine OB
Pediatrician on call
Experienced Respiratory Therapists
General Surgeons on-site
EMR System: Cerner
Reason for Need: Physician cancellation and maternity leave
Preferred Lodging: GoldMiner s Inn
