This physician-led program offers a dynamic emergency care environment with strong APP support and modern EMR systems. Credentialing requires a minimum of 90 days.
Dates / Schedule:
Start Date: After completion of 90-day credentialing process
Schedule: 24 hours/day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
APP Coverage: 36 hours/day
Availability: Must be available for nights and weekends
Job Details / Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a 22-bed Emergency Department with an annual volume of 28,000 visits.
Work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to deliver efficient and effective patient care.
Utilize EPIC EMR for all documentation and clinical workflows.
Maintain all required certifications and compliance with hospital policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with significant EM experience Required
Active Ohio Medical License or IMLC with proof of LOQ within 3 business days of acceptance Required
COVID-19 Vaccination Required
Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience Required
Clean background No exceptions
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills within a fast-paced ED environment
