This position offers a balanced schedule of clinic, OR, and on-call responsibilities, with strong support from advanced practice and nursing staff. The ideal candidate will be board certified, experienced, and committed to delivering high-quality surgical care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Dates / Schedule
Type: Full-time
Hours: 36 patient contact hours per week
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Procedure/OR Days: 2 4 per week
Call: Participates in rotation for soft tissue call, clinic call, and EMTALA call

Team Composition:
Clinic Volume: 16+ patients per full clinic day ( min appointments)
Patient Population: Surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages
EMR: Epic
Teaching Opportunities: Available
Responsibilities Include:
Performing reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries
Trauma and soft tissue call coverage
ER consults, in-office procedures, and reconstructive collaboration with breast surgeons
Required Skills & Qualifications
Board Certification: Required (Plastic Surgery)
Licensure: Active Iowa license or active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
Experience: Prior plastic surgery experience required
Background: Clean malpractice and background record required
