Description: ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Radiologist to support imaging services across three hospital-based sites. The role focuses heavily on body imaging, with openness to both on-site and remote readers who are body-imaging trained or highly experienced. Providers will read a mix of CT, ultrasound, and body MRI with variable daily volumes depending on rotation. Dates / Schedule
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 3-month timeframe)
Coverage Need: Locum coverage while recruiting permanent body imagers
Call: Negotiable
Schedule Requirements: Must be available at least three weeks per month
Job Details / Responsibilities
Practice Setting: Hospital-based; reading for LUMC (primary site), GMH, and MNH
Reading Volumes (vary by rotation):
CTs/day
OR 100 X-rays/day
OR 60 ultrasounds/day
Trauma Levels:
LUMC Level I
GMH Level II
MNH Level II
EMR / Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACS, Softek Illuminate
Department: 40 FTE radiologists (9 CT readers, 4 body MRI readers)
Teleradiology: Yes
Patient Population: All ages (pediatric reading not required)
Required Imaging Modalities: CT, Ultrasound, Body MRI
Required Skills & Qualifications
Board Certified Radiologist REQUIRED
Illinois State License REQUIRED
Fellowship in Body Imaging REQUIRED
BLS Certification REQUIRED
DEA Registration & CDS Certification REQUIRED
Availability for 3 weeks per month REQUIRED
Remote candidates accepted; on-site preferred PREFERRED
