Facility: This facility is a Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The hospital features state-of-the-art surgical facilities with an established anesthesiology department, using the Cerner EMR system for streamlined documentation and patient care management. Opportunity: Board Certification - Anesthesiology Job Details: • Locum or Locum-to-Perm position available starting January 2026• Schedule varies based on surgical schedule and hospital needs• Coverage includes weekday, night call, and weekend call coverage• Must perform general surgical cases (adult), IV regional anesthesia, and plexus anesthesia• Required proficiency in open heart anesthesia, thoracic cases, and complex vascular cases• Experience with spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and local infiltration• Must be skilled in ventilation management• Required experience with TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertion• Supervision of CRNAs required• Must hold active New Jersey Medical License - no time for licensing wait period• Board Certification in Anesthesiology required• ACLS and BLS certifications required• Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia preferred• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days• Travel benefits include hotel, rental car, mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate, and flight coverage Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. |
