Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche un(e) R�dacteur(trice) technique pour rejoindre notre �quipe de Publications Techniques bas�e � Mirabel (Qu�bec, Canada).

Vous ferez partie de l �quipe Syst�mes et serez charg�e de la r�vision de la publication d isolation des fautes (Fault Isolation Manual - FIM).

L'organisation de l'�quipe est �tablie de mani�re � promouvoir la collaboration transversale de mani�re autonome, en se soutenant mutuellement et en apprenant collectivement.

Votre r�le en tant que R�dacteur technique sera d'examiner la documentation d'ing�nierie, d'effectuer des analyses d'impact, d'examiner les t�ches r�vis�es pour approbation et d'incorporer les changements.

Vos d�fis :

La t�che principale consistera � rechercher, planifier, r�diger et r�viser le Fault Isolation Manuel (FIM) ;

Communiquer r�guli�rement avec l'Ing�nierie pour valider les proc�dures de d�pannage avant publication ;

Analyser les documents sources de l'ing�nierie afin de d�terminer leur impact sur le Fault Isolation Manuel (FIM) et prendre les mesures n�cessaires pour les r�viser ;

Analyser et r�pondre aux demandes des clients concernant la publication du FIM ;

Identifier et mettre en œuvre les am�liorations des processus et des produits conform�ment au plan strat�gique.

Votre profil :

Vous d�tenez un dipl�me d'�tudes coll�giales (DEC) en maintenance d'a�ronefs ou en avionique, ou dans un domaine �quivalent ;

Vous avez un minimum de trois (3) ans d'exp�rience pertinente dans l'industrie a�ronautique ;

Vous avez de solides comp�tences en communication (�crite et orale) autant en fran�ais qu'en anglais ;

Vous poss�dez de solides comp�tences en mati�re de d�pannage et de r�solution de probl�mes ;

Vous devez avoir une compr�hension approfondie des dessins techniques, des sch�mas de filage et des diagrammes sch�matiques ;

Vous avez une compr�hension d�taill�e des processus de publications techniques et des technologies (un atout) ;

Vous avez une compr�hension de base des sp�cifications S1000D et ATA (un atout) ;

Vous avez une bonne connaissance du langage de r�daction XML (un atout).

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Technical Writer to join our Technical Publications team based in Mirabel (Qu�bec, Canada).

You will be part of the Systems team and be responsible for revising the Fault Isolation Manual (FIM). The team is organised in such a way as to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Technical Writer will be to review engineering documentation, carry out impact analyses, review revised tasks for approval and incorporate changes.

Your challenges:

The principal task will be to research, plan, write and revise the Fault Isolation Manual (FIM);

Communicate regularly with Engineering to validate troubleshooting procedures before being published;

Analyze engineering source documents to determine impact on the Fault Isolation Manual (FIM) and take steps to revise as needed;

Analyze and respond to customer inquiries regarding the FIM publication;

Identify and implement processes and product improvements inline with the Strategic plan.

Your boarding pass:

You hold a college diploma (DEC) in aircraft maintenance or avionics, or equivalent field;

You have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience within the aerospace industry;

You have strong communication skills (written and spoken) in french and english;

You have a strong skill set for troubleshooting and problem solving;

You must have a thorough understanding of technical drawings, wiring/schematic diagrams;

You have a detailed understanding of Technical Publications processes and technologies (an asset);

You have basic understanding of S1000D and ATA specifications (an asset);

You have a good knowledge of XML authoring language (an asset).
