Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) with 1-2 years of experience to join our thriving medical team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on preventive health and the management of chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging)
- Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
- Perform minor procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, joint injections)
Qualifications:
- Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of New York
- 1-2 years of experience in a primary care setting (preferred)
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current ACLS/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
