CHI Lakewood Health is actively recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well established hospital in Baudette, Minnesota. We are privileged to serve residents from four counties, neighboring residents of Canada, as well as tourists that come from all over the world due to seasonal tourism and recreational activities. We are proud to offer a full range of services including 24/7/365 emergency room and hospitalist program, testing, surgery, an outpatient primary care clinic, a care center, rehabilitation, and more. This position supports our busy, ER-Hospitalist program Essential Areas of Responsibility - Provide care to patients of all ages - children to geriatrics - Emergency Room consults, triage and medical care - Round, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditions - Manages all inpatient care and provides prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within your scope of practice) - Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health care personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and ER - Employing quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital a safer place and improve patient outcomes - Ten (10) shifts per month is full-time. Each 24-hour shift is unrestricted call and APPs can expect to provide 10-12 hours onsite patient care. - PLSF Eligible We offer a robust compensation packages which includes: - A base salary - Quality incentives - Paid relocation up to $7,500 - CME Allowance - An excellent benefit package - comprised of matching 403b, medical, dental and vision insurance, paid professional liability insurance, and much more Responsibilities

Job Requirements The ideal candidate for this position: - will have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Masters or Doctorate program - will have Emergency Room or Inpatient experience of 1 year or more, required - board certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Hospital Medicine - ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or CALS certified - will have the qualification to successfully obtain an unrestricted Minnesota practice license and DEA - interested in a shift-based condensed work schedule Ten 24-hr shifts is full-time - have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills - demonstrate the ability to work independently - demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing patient demographics and needs We are especially interested in candidates that demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism, and adhere to and exhibits our core values of Compassion, Inclusion, Integrity, Excellence and Collaboration.
