Description: Job Description & Requirements Interventional Cardiology Physician StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $315.25 - $341.25 This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 8:00 AM (weekend non-invasive rounding, preferably non-invasive and STEMI coverage) Potentially Thursday 8:00 AM Monday 8:00 AM if possible Call responsibilities include non-invasive rounding (required), STEMI coverage (preferred), cardiac service reading/results, and stress testing supervision. Practice Setting: Inpatient Type of cases and required procedures: Non-invasive rounding, Reading cardiac-related imaging and testing Supervising stress testing ordered during the weekend If interventional: perform any needed acute procedures during weekend shift Credentialing timeframe: 60 days Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC Certifications required: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Licensure required: Must have active Indiana Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA) or easily transferable, Active Indiana medical license Job Benefits AMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
