Description: ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time, board-certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to join a strong 3-physician / 2-APP IR team. This hospital-based role provides daytime interventional radiology services with a Q3 call rotation and an average of eight cases per day. Dates / Schedule
Coverage Type: Full-time locum
Call: Q3 (every third weekday and every third weekend)
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days; can be fast-tracked for ASAP start
Job Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting: Hospital-based, Level I Trauma Center
Team Structure: 3 IR physicians + 2 APPs + IR manager support
Patient Demographic: Primarily adults, including frequent geriatrics
Average Daily Case Volume: 8 cases/day
EMR: Not specified
Procedures Required:
Angioplasty
Stent placement
Embolization
Needle biopsy
Thrombolysis
UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
Additional preferred experience: Ortho, Gyn, and Urology-related procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
Board-Certified Radiologist
Active Michigan Medical License
Active BLS & ACLS certifications
Clean malpractice and licensing history (highly preferred)
Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS, Board Certification
State License Requirement: Michigan
