Description: I have a night shift CRNA locum opportunity at a community hospital in the Los Angeles metro area starting March 2026. This is a high-acuity, underserved population with a strong OB focus.

Location: Southern California LA Metro
️ Start Date: March 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks / Ongoing until permanent staff is hired
Credentialing: 4 5 months (client exploring emergency privileging options)
Schedule:
Coverage Needed: 7 night shifts per week
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Saturday Sunday + weekdays)
- Can be split between multiple CRNAs:
• 1 3x12s + 1 4x12s or 2 2x12s + 1 3x12s
- Block scheduling available
- Scheduling is set 1.5 months in advance shifts can be consecutive for travelers
Clinical Details:
Patient Population:
• Primarily ASA 3+ adults • Underserved population; primarily Spanish-speaking • No pediatrics
Case Types:
• OB is a must C-sections, epidurals (avg. 2 3 epidurals + 1 C-section/night) • Heavy bread & butter: GI, Neurology, GYN, IR • No hearts or transplants
Supervision Model: Care team 1:1 with MD, only one CRNA on at a time
Volume: 5 6 cases per shift on average
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Strong OB skills required • Comfortable doing own preops/workups • California license required (no licensing assistance)
