Maternal Fetal Medicine Locums Job in Georgia
Details/Requirements:
Clinic & Call
Vacation coverage (start & end days may vary slightly depending on month/request)
Preferred/usual start day: Thursday
Weekend call block: Thursday 7AM-Monday 7AM
Thursday clinic: Full clinic day (8A-5P)
Friday clinic: 8A-1P (clinic open until 5PM for charting/admin)
Saturday & Sunday rounding: 2 hours per day; on call until 7AM Monday
Job duties: scan reading, patient consults, documentation, accepting transfers, collaborating with NPs, and providing guidance/direction to onsite OB providers
Call Responsibilities: May accept transfers after hours; hospitalist can place initial orders, MFM sees patient the following morning
Hospital support: OB hospitalists manage deliveries and take first call for routine issues; NP receives most calls unless MD is needed
Team structure: 1 employed MFM, 2 NPs (alternating OP/IP weekly), onsite sonographer
Active Georgia license required
