McLeod Health is seeking an Academic Hospitalist with FM Residency Training to join the Core Faculty for GME Rural Residency Program. The position offers to opportunity to mentor, teach and guide the next generation of physicians. As a core faculty member, you will contribute to our GME Rural Family Medicine Residency Program while providing comprehensive care to the community.

• Duties include teaching and patient care


• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine


• Experience in academic medicine preferred, particularly in a rural setting


• Passion for teaching and mentoring residents

McLeod Health Clarendon is licensed for 81 beds and in 2013, it completed a $22 million, 47,000 square foot expansion and renovation, encompassing new operating rooms, emergency department ,same-day surgery center and larger patient rooms. Clarendon has 35 physicians representing specialties ranging from ED, Family/Internal Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Tele-Neurology, Tele-Psych, Tele-Vascular and Tele-Pulmonary.
