We are seeking a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner in Texas.

Position Details:
- PRN position
- Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments
- Non-treatment exams, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing)
- No prescribing or treatment
- Record review required in most cases
- Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) must be submitted within 48 hours after exam completion
- Quick credentialing & onboarding
- Exams to be completed in Facility provider portal
- Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
- Must have a personal laptop (No Mac/Apple products)
Support Staff:
- Training provided for Reporting/DBQs
- Administrative follow-ups required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)
On-Call/Weekend:
- No on-call
- No weekend requirements
Compensation & Reimbursement:
- Half-day (4 hours or less): $350 flat rate
- Full-day (5 hours or more): $800 flat rate
- One-time $650 bonus after completing all training and first shift
- Local candidates only (travel included in rates)
Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
Active and unrestricted full license
Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified
Own a laptop (No Mac/Apple products)
Proficient in METs testing, respiratory, and cardiovascular evaluations
CV must include current home address
ECFMG certificate required if attended medical school outside the U.S.
