Position Highlights Hospital-employed, full-time BC/BE General Surgery position Open to practicing surgeons and candidates completing training Requirements include bread-and-butter General Surgery, GI coverage, and laparoscopic procedures Average patients per day Providers on campus include Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics OR in the mornings followed by clinic Clinic hours: Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m. Call: 1:3 (General Surgery and GI simultaneously) Clinic EMR: Athena; Hospital EMR: Meditech Ambulatory clinic in the 90th percentile for patient satisfaction Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus wRVU production bonuses Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Student loan repayment assistance and early-commitment residency stipend CME allowance and days Comprehensive benefits, paid malpractice, PTO, retirement plan Marketing and practice growth support Community Highlights Live in a picturesque area of western North Carolina known for mountain views, outdoor recreation, and historic charm.
