Do you know your way around a machine shop? Curious about sales and ready to learn how to turn that knowledge into deals? is looking for a motivated Sales Trainee to join our growing team.


For over 20 years, has been a trusted name in buying and selling used CNC machines, fabrication tools, and industrial equipment. Backed by Productivity Inc., we're expanding and need someone eager to learn the business and grow into a successful Used Equipment Sales role.



What You'll Do



  • Learn how to locate, evaluate, and purchase used CNC and industrial equipment for resale

  • Assist in identifying and pursuing industrial auction opportunities

  • Visit customers across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois to inspect equipment and build relationships

  • Gain experience in assessing equipment condition, resale value, and market demand

  • Talk to customers, assess their needs, and create quotes

  • Follow-up on leads, quotes, and customer activity

  • Shadow senior salespeople and develop into running your own territory



Who This Role Is Great For

What You Bring



  • Hands-on experience with CNC machines or metalworking equipment

  • Strong sense of initiative - enjoys the challenge of turning "no" into "maybe," and "maybe" into "yes"

  • Resilient mindset; comfortable handling rejection and trying again

  • Confidence to ask questions, present solutions, and follow up consistently

  • Comfortable making phone calls, visiting shops, and building rapport with decision makers

  • Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn CRM systems

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally



Pay & Benefits




  • Starting pay: $60,000 base + 5% commission (expected first-year range $60,000-$80,000, with potential to grow as you build your book of business)
