Description: Lycoming College is hiring a part-time Communications Officer to join the Public Safety team. Lycoming College, one of the nation's oldest residential liberal arts and sciences colleges, invites candidates for two full-time openings with the Public Safety team as a Communications Officer. With a first-rate undergraduate education and an increased commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable campus community that supports all faculty, staff, and students, we are seeking candidates who can support and contribute to our mission and 2021 strategic plan . This position is often the first departmental contact for the Lycoming Community within the Public Safety Office. Fulfilling this role requires Communication Officers to be exceptionally attuned to the needs and experiences of all members of Lycoming's diverse community and be adept at supporting and enhancing the campus experience of all with whom they work. This position has a schedule of Friday-Saturday from 11pm-7am. The pay for the position begins at $13.50 per hour and includes retention bonuses of $.50 per hour after six months of active employment and an additional $1.00 per hour after a year of active employment.
