Novant Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neuro-Oncologist in Wilmington, NC to join established Neuroscience group with specialists in neurosurgery, headache, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, stroke, neuropsychology, neurohospitalist, neurointensivists, and neurointerventional surgery.
Position Details:
- Seeking Neurologist to care for Neuro-Oncology patients with primary and metastatic CNS tumors to help develop a network-wide program in neuro-oncology, centered at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
- Affiliated with Novant Health, a not-for-profit health network with 19 acute hospitals across North and South Carolina
- Immediate opportunity to contribute to and develop system wide initiatives including the Neuro-Oncology clinical pathways and treatment protocols, Neuro-Oncology system wide tumor board, and Neuro-oncology system wide clinical trials.
- Large referral base from throughout the Novant Health network.
- Will work with neurosurgeons, neuropathologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists throughout the Novant Health network.
- Opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and advance practice providers.
Qualification(s):
- Sharing a philosophy of putting high value on the patient experience
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in both Neurology and Neuro-Oncology
- Completion of Neurology residency and Neuro-Oncology fellowship
- Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in North Carolina
