Description: - Setting: Cardiac surgery step down unit
- Scope: caring for CTS patients on step the down unit, no ICU level care, no OR
- Dates: Dec 1- May 31
- Shift Hours: 7a-4p Tues-Sun
- Procedures: chest tube and pacer wire removal (weekends only, with supervision of attending)
- Patient Load: 8-12 Tues-Fri, weekend coverage is rounding on non-ICU patients
- EMR: Epic
- Requirements: Active VA license, DEA with VA address, NCCPA, ACLS, BLS
