Position: Gastroenterology Physician |
Description: Inpatient Gastroenterology Locum Coverage sought starting January 1st, due to a permanent opening.
- 2 weeks per month, at minimum due to full time coverage need
- Bread and Butter GI procedures like endoscopies and colonoscopies, along with ERCP needed.
- See Up to 10 patients/day
- No Clinic Just Rounding, Consults and Procedures
- Typical cases include Abdominal pain, GI bleeds, SBO, food bolus, Ulceration, gastritis, perhaps diagnose carcinoma but no treatment.
- Paragon EMR currently; transitioning to EPIC in 2026
- Must have TX License, ACLS, Board Certification and ERCP experience/training, no major malpractice or disciplinary actions
