Description: ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to provide Level II trauma coverage for up to two weeks per month. The role includes 24/7 ER call coverage with PA support and limited outpatient clinic time. This position is ideal for an experienced trauma-trained orthopedic surgeon available for a 6 9 month locum engagement. Dates & Schedule

Ongoing Coverage: Up to 2 weeks per month, based on internal physician schedule

Setting: Hospital (ER/OR) and Outpatient Clinic (3 mornings per week, TBD)

Job Details & Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 ER orthopedic coverage for a Level II trauma center, including consults, admissions, and surgical cases.
Perform a full range of orthopedic procedures, excluding complex pelvic trauma.
Participate in outpatient clinic approximately three mornings per week with MA and hospital support.
Manage orthopedic emergencies (0 7 admissions or cases per day, varies by volume).
Collaborate with dedicated PAs and multidisciplinary hospital staff.
Utilize EPIC EMR for all charting and order entry.
Coverage is needed due to provider resignation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Required
Fellowship Trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Required
Minimum 5 years of Level II Trauma experience Required
Washington State License Preferred (IMLC with LOQ acceptable)
BLS and DEA Certification Required (or ability to obtain upon offer)
Clean Malpractice History Highly Preferred
Must be available at time of name clear for credentialing.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity trauma cases independently.
