Certified Pilates Instructor | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Description: Pilates Playground Every Club Pilates is equipped with brand new, state of the art equipment that will be a big selling point for instructors. Not only do we have 12 stations, but each station has an abundance of apparatus that will make programming classes fun and inspiring week after week. Most boutique Pilates studios only have Reformers and Mats, but the fact that each station at Club Pilates also has a Chair, Springboard, small props, TRX, barre equipment, and more, ensures instructors will never get bored when teaching. Direct Employment Our instructors are hires as W2 employees, not 1099/independent contractors. This is a benefit because it removes a lot of extra overhead expenses that independent contractors typically have to budget for. It also removes a lot of the administrative responsibilities that independent contractors have to manage, like marketing, accounting and scheduling. This means that your Instructors can focus on what they do best- teaching Pilates! Convenient Block Scheduling and More Class Availability Club Pilates offers classes 7 days a week, as early as 6:00 am and as late as 8:00 pm. When scheduling instructors, they are typically scheduled in a block-shift of 4-6 hours. That means that an instructor can come to your studio, work their shift, and be done for the day (that is considered a full day for most instructors). Competitor studios are not typically open as many hours a day as our studio, so they are only able to give their Instructors 1-2 classes at a time. That might mean that an Instructor is driving all across town, working at 2-3 different studios in 1 day, just to pick up enough hours. Our block scheduling eliminates that and allows them to commit to one location a day. Career Advancement Our Instructors are hired a various levels depending on their experience and education. We have the ability to hire someone who is currently working through Teacher Training as an Apprentice. A Mat and Reformer certified Instructor can be hired as a Junior Instructor with support to complete their Comprehensive education, and Instructors can get promoted to a Lead Instructor, where they have the opportunity to be the education leader in their studio. Finally, we have our Master Trainers, who have the opportunity to become Pilates educators and travel across the country (and soon to be world!) to deliver our Teacher Training and Bridge Training. Workshops + Continuing Education Instructors have access to studio-provided workshops to help to continue and foster their education. The workshops may cover additional training on apparatus, like TRX or TriggerPoint, or focus on a special population, like pre or post-natal. Our Instructors also have the opportunity to lead studio workshops for members or fellow instructors. Portability Club Pilates is the largest network of Pilates studios in the WORLD. Should an Instructor need or want to relocate for whatever reason, assuming they are in good standing with their home studio, they will always have a home at Club Pilates and we can facilitate finding a job at one of our studios in their new city. Greater Impact on Community Many instructors pursue this career because they are passionate about helping people move and feel better! Our class model allows Instructors to help 12 people every hour on the hour, meaning they are able to have a great impact on the community and help fulfill Joseph Pilates dream by making Pilates a household name!
