Description: Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and malfunctions. Perform repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other mechanical components. Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks. Utilise diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle performance and troubleshoot problems. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Experience Previous experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems is beneficial. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A relevant qualification in automotive engineering or mechanics would be advantageous but not mandatory.
