Description: Are you an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Texas might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights
Schedule: 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday for OBGYN clinical services along with OBGYN hospital call coverage 7-10 days per month
Job Setting: Hospital
Types of Cases: 25-30 patient encounters per shift. Low risk pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of and interpretation (Level I/Screening viability required, Level II/Targeted anatomic preferred), amniocentesis (preferred), routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-section), complicated delivery (c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBAC's - all preferred), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations (preferred), office/minor gynecology - IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP. Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only, operative/major - all preferred), laser certification (preferred)
Credentialing: 90 days. Providers with active Baptist privileges preferred
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Fellowship required
Licensure: TX state license required. IMLC not accepted
