Description:
Position Overview
• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures by preparing the operating room with sterile instruments and specialized cardiac equipment
• Anticipate the needs of cardiovascular surgeons during open-heart and vascular procedures
• Handle surgical instruments, sutures, grafts, and implants with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a sterile field and assist in intraoperative monitoring of patient safety and surgical integrity
• Collaborate with circulating nurses and perfusionists to ensure smooth procedural flow
• Follow hospital protocols for aseptic technique, infection prevention, and OR safety
