Description: Mon-Fri 8.00am - 4.30pm 20 days annual holidays + 8 days Bank Holidays Relaxed working environment We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our well established family run company. The ideal candidate will join our current maintenance team responsible for diagnosing and repairing our fleet of HGV's, Forklifts and machinery. This role requires a good understanding of all types of mechanical work. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment is safe and operational with minimal down time. Duties: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs of our own fleet of heavy goods vehicles, forklifts, cars and vans. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical faults - Conduct safety inspections and identify any potential problems or concerns - Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts and systems Requirements:- - Experience as a HGV technician/diesel fitter/plant fitter or similar role - Broad knowledge of vehicle mechanics - Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Full UK Driving Licence Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ss38,000.00-ss40,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension On-site parking Work Location: In person Reference ID: HGV Mechanic |
