Salary Range: Assistant Professor $258,000-$310,000 per year; Associate Professor $302,000-$360,000 per year; Professor $333,000-$410,000 per year



The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking full-time faculty members at any rank to join our team in the Section of Complex Family Planning. Faculty will provide complex abortion care and gynecologic care at our Hyde Park Campus and Ingalls Hospital. There will also be opportunities to attend the inpatient gynecology service or work on labor and delivery. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Appointees will join a vibrant community within UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Section of Complex Family Planning foster a culture of support through mentorship and multidisciplinary collaborations. Areas of expertise within the section include A, B, minimally invasive surgery and adolescent gynecology. The Section runs a Complex Family Planning fellowship, and OB/GYN residents rotate through Complex Family Planning. Faculty and trainees contribute to our research mission.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and 5) have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Complex Family Planning.
