We're on a mission to scale our wholesale and B2B business, and we're looking for a B2B Sales Development Manager who brings energy, strategy, and leadership to the next phase of our growth.


What You'll Do

As our B2B Sales Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind designing and executing AMain's national B2B, wholesale, and retail sales strategy, with a focus on CRM-driven growth and expanding the wholesale distribution network. This role owns revenue, margin, and volume targets while leading a high-performing sales organization focused on growth, profitability, and operational excellence.






This leader will drive strategic initiatives that expand AMain's wholesale footprint, optimize partner relationships, and leverage data to uncover new opportunities at every level-from brand to SKU.






Your goal? Build, lead, and grow AMain's B2B sales engine into a national powerhouse.











DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Sales Strategy & Business Growth



  • Develop and oversee the national B2B, wholesale, and retail sales strategy to drive growth across all channels.

  • Own revenue, margin, and volume targets to ensure consistent performance and profitability.

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in key markets, banners, and regions to expand AMain's distribution network.

  • Leverage retail experience to build sales strategies that enhance product sell-through, merchandising impact, and category performance.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify patterns, partner profiles, and untapped growth potential.

  • Drive awareness, value, and sales through discretionary and targeted incentives.

  • Conduct disciplined reviews of promotional results to evaluate effectiveness across communication channels.



Leadership & Team Development



  • Build, lead, and coach a high-performing B2B sales organization focused on accountability, customer excellence, and results.

  • Develop sales structures, roles, and KPIs that align with AMain's growth objectives.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.

  • Ensure team alignment with corporate goals and sales execution standards.



Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to align business objectives and deliver seamless execution.

  • Partner with marketing to develop sales enablement tools, promotions, and communications that drive wholesale and retail engagement.

  • Coordinate with product and purchasing teams to ensure inventory, pricing, and assortment align with sales objectives.

  • Work with operations and finance to forecast demand, manage budgets, and ensure sustainable profitability.



Data, Analytics & Performance Insights



  • Analyze sales and retail data to determine opportunities for expansion at the store, region, banner, brand, category, and SKU level.

  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that support CRM-driven growth, margin, and market share.

  • Develop reporting dashboards and scorecards to monitor progress against targets and guide decision-making.



Financial & Operational Accountability



  • Manage the business unit P&L, balancing growth and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with finance to build sales forecasts, budgets, and performance models.

  • Monitor revenue, cost of sales, and operating expenses to maximize ROI.

  • Adjust plans and strategies based on performance analysis and business needs.











  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale, retail, and distribution leadership.

  • Proven experience building or expanding a B2B/wholesale network and driving measurable growth.

  • Demonstrated success implementing CRM systems and using data to inform strategy and execution.

  • Strong experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance frameworks.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Knowledge of the hobby, RC, or cycling industries is a plus.
