Histotechnician

Are you meticulous with your hands and passionate about the science behind patient care? A respected clinical laboratory in South Carolina is looking for a certified Histotechnician to join their dedicated team. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced lab environment and wants to contribute meaningfully to diagnostic medicine.

As a Histotechnician, you ll be essential in preparing high-quality tissue slides that support accurate diagnoses. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Embedding and sectioning all types of paraffin-embedded tissue

• Performing microtomy, routine and special staining, and IHC procedures

• Maintaining clean, organized, and compliant workspaces

• Managing slide workflow, including case assembly and distribution

• Handling hazardous waste safely and adhering to strict lab protocols

• Maintaining lab safety standards and protecting patient data under HIPAA and company policies

Shift: 1st shift (9am-5:30pm)
