We are currently looking to hire a BC/BE general surgeon for our multispecialty group in Stephenville, TX. We are replacing a long-standing surgeon, offering the opportunity to step into a busy and established practice with full support and room to grow.

Were looking for a confident, autonomous surgeon who is comfortable practicing broad-spectrum general surgery in a high-demand, low-competition area. You'll be the primary surgeon within the practice and play a vital role in serving a diverse, community-oriented patient population.

• Full-spectrum general surgery: Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colonoscopy, thyroid, breast, and more.


• Open to modifying schedule based on candidates unique skill sets


• Patient demographics: Mix of pediatric (12+), adult, Medicare (40%), Medicaid, and commercial


• 
  Clinic & Procedure Schedule:
  
  
  
  • 2 OR days + 2 clinic days/week (flexibility to optimize scheduling preferred)

    Preferred schedule: procedures in the morning, clinic in the afternoon
    
  
  
  
  


• Call: 10 days/month (negotiable), shared with hospital

  Procedure locations: Main THR facility in Stephenville + optional privileges at Granbury and Comanche County Medical Center
  


• 
  Support team: 1:1 Medical Assistant, dedicated front office, department-specific practice administrator
  


• Benefits set to be offered include Malpractice Insurance, CME Allowance, Marketing Expenses, Production Incentives, a sign-on bonus and possible partner buy-in after 12 months.

• Board-Certified/Eligible General Surgeon (MD or DO)


• Experience preferred; must be comfortable working independently

• Stephenville Medical and Surgical Clinic was established in 1929 and is a multispecialty clinic serving Erath, Stephenville, and surrounding areas.


• The clinic has providers in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and Radiology.


• The complex includes a 30,000 square foot facility with physicians offices, radiology services that include digital mammography, sonography, nuclear studies, BMD, plain films and mobile MRI.
