Description: Hospital is seeking a full-time Teler adi ologist to join their team in southern Georgia.
Details: - Monday-Friday, 8 AM 5 PM; opportunity for extra pay for evening coverage 5 PM-9PM or weekend coverage
- We are also open to candidates who can work between 3pm-9pm Monday through Friday or weekends
- No call required
- One center facility with an Emergency Department; Daytime shifts will have an on-site radiologist also working
- Candidate must be proficient in and willing to read the following modalities - XR, DEXA, MRI, CT, US; optional modalities include PET and FL
- Approximately 80 reads per shift average in which 50% are general radiology
- Home workstation provided
Volume/Types of Cases (Breakdown of Imaging Percentages): - MRI (4.3%) Average per week is 32 to 40 exams with average daily of 10-12 exams, more one day and less another
- CT (32.3%) Average per week is 240 to 290 exams with average daily of 50-70 exams, again more one day and less another
- US (11.8%) Average per week is 70 to 80 exams with average daily of 16-20 exams
- XR Average per week is 280 to 350 exams with average daily of 65-75 exams
- All routine x-ray exams, Chest, Abdomen, Extremities, Spines, etc
- Fluoro exams: Ba Swallow, Modified Ba Swallows, UGI, SBFT, BE, PEG Tube conformations, Chest with Fluoro
Technology Available: - 128 Slice CT (computerized tomography) scans
- 3T MRI
- Ultrasound
- Vascular Studies
- Nuclear Medicine
- PET (positron emission tomography)
- Echocardiography
- Nuclear Cardiac scanning
- Mammography
- DEXA Bone Densitometry
