Overview




We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Valuation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the company's financial reporting and reserve analysis processes. You will work closely with actuarial leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting of reserves and liabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven actuarial professional to deepen their expertise in valuation while contributing to the financial strength and integrity of the organization.






Responsibilities





  • Perform reserve calculations and support the preparation of statutory and GAAP financial statements.

  • Assist with month-end valuation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with actuarial standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance valuation models to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Analyze emerging experience data to assess assumptions and trends that impact reserves and profitability.

  • Partner with finance and other business units to provide actuarial insight into financial results.

  • Support audit requests and regulatory examinations related to reserves and financial reporting.

  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and processes in compliance with Actuarial Standards of Practice.

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.






Qualifications





  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.

  • 2+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in valuation, financial reporting, or reserving.

  • Completion of at least 3 actuarial exams.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Access and Excel.

  • Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python, VBA) is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work under deadlines.
