Coverage Needed:
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Day Shifts of 8-12 hours and after-hours calls
- Day/Night Weekday coverage
Clinical Details:
- Number of traumas can vary daily
- Expected to round, assist in OR, and respond to ED pages
- 2 APPs on during the day, 1 at night
- Suturing and fracture reductions required
- Independent work with backup from Trauma or Orthopaedic surgeons
- Experience as an OR assist needed
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 5-10
- 12-30 Beds, Level 2 Trauma Facility
- Average Phone Consults: 20
- Average Patients Seen: 10
- Call Response Time Required: 60 min
- Call Ratio: 5-25
- Admissions: 2-5
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active PA License
- ACLS
