Description: Important: please notice that client will only cover lodging for days provider works if truly needed but client would strongly prefer only candidates that require mileage and are commutable to locations - NO FLIGHTS - NO RENTAL CARS Locum Urgent Care - MD, DO, NP, PA - 13 locations in Maryland - Current Urgent needs in Frederick Region, However has clinics all over Maryland. Urgent Care Setting Start: June/July End: Pick up shifts once credentialed. LOA: 3 months, however based upon providers preferences. Credentialing: ASAP Work Schedule: Average volume of 35 patients per 12-hour day, or just under three patients per hour. Work three days one week and four days the next, resulting in 3-4 days off each week. Once credentialled you can pick up whatever shifts you have available. Patient Volume: 32-35 Procedures: Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments of ages 2 and up as the sole provider Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting. Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annuals. Evaluate patients for workers compensation injuries EMR: Experity License: MD Certifications: BLS, ACLS. DOT preferred but not required. Relevant Experience: Needing a Family Med physician to work urgent care for all ages. ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine or if board eligible then intention to become board certified within 1 year of onboarding. Additional Info: 4 hour in clinic training/EMR training with medical leadership on day 1 Support staff will be 85% of the time an MA, sometimes they will have an RT or ENT Please contact Travis . |
