We're currently seeking professional, safety-driven, and customer-oriented Coach Drivers to join our growing operations team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, value passenger safety, and enjoy being ambassadors of service excellence on the road.
Coach Driver Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a motorcoach in accordance with company policies, highway regulations, and federal/provincial requirements.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance.
- Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled destinations while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the coach, including providing mobility assistance when required.
- Handle fare collection and reconcile tickets or payments (where applicable).
- Communicate delays, mechanical issues, or incidents promptly to Dispatch or the District Manager.
- Represent Coach Canada professionally through courteous interaction, clean uniform presentation, and adherence to customer service standards.
- Participate in all mandatory safety and compliance training programs as required under the Canada Labour Code, Part II (Health & Safety) and DOT regulations.
Coach Driver Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid and unrestricted Class B Commercial Driver's Licence with Air Brake endorsement (Z).
- Ability to cross the Canada-U.S. border as required for assigned routes or charters.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, vulnerable sector check, and DOT medical examination.
- Previous coach or commercial vehicle driving experience (preferred).
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional, safety-first attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable for maintaining compliance and training certifications.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit).
