Description: Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine Join a dynamic healthcare facility dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans! We are seeking experienced General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the country. This position offers the flexibility of a PRN schedule, with options for half-day or full-day shifts.
Job Responsibilities: - Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with limited physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete medical reporting and any necessary addendums following examinations.
- Engage in regular follow-up administrative work related to exam findings.
- Work as needed, with options to choose shifts that fit your schedule.
Qualifications: - Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Possess an active and unrestricted medical license.
- Have AANP certification.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
Licensure and Certification Requirements: - Active and unrestricted medical license is a must.
- AANP certification required.
- Completion of DMA training before starting.
