Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Join a dedicated team at a facility that supports our nation's Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, New Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference while working in a supportive environment.

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with minimal physical assessments.
• Complete required reports and addendums in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) to assist in caring for Veterans.
• No prescribing or treatment involved.
• Option to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) as per availability.

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must have AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted license required.
• Must possess a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New Mexico.
• AANP Certification.
• DMA certification required upon completion of training.
