Description: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Dermatology)- Bakersfield, CA
Job Type: Full-time/Permanent (Onsite)
Shifts: Mon-Fri (40 hours per week)
Job overview: The Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in providing outstanding dermatologic services, building strong patient relationships, and contributing to a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
Role and responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive skin exams and assessments
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform in-office procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, laser therapy)
- Work closely with dermatologists and support staff
- Participate in case discussions and care planning
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A master s degree is required in Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Studies
- Must be licensed as NP/PA in the state of CA.
- Minimum 1 year of Dermatology experience is required.
