Position Overview:

We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The Physical Therapist will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy programs to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall functional ability for our residents. This position is ideal for a compassionate, motivated professional who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and meaningful patient connections.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to residents specific needs and goals.




  • Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.




  • Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.




  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic and coordinated care.




  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, exercise programs, and continued care strategies.




  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.




  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.




  • Stay current with developments in physical therapy by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.





Qualifications:




  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.





  • Active Alabama state license as a Physical Therapist.




  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility, inpatient rehabilitation, or similar healthcare setting preferred (new graduates welcome to apply).




  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.




  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.




  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
