Description: Position Type: Locum Tenens or Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Call:
- Weekday call: 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM (2nd call, typically 8 per month)
- Weekend call: 2-4 weekend days/month
- Second call is rarely utilized
Practice Environment: Hospital-based
- Mix of independent practice and care team model
- Anesthesiologists available onsite for support
Case Types Include:
- General Surgery, OB/GYN, Urology, Ortho, Ophthalmology, ECT
- Limited CV/CT, Podiatry, GI Lab, Cath Lab, MRI, IR procedures
- Epidural placements
- No neuro, spine, open hearts, or plastics
Average Volume: 12 OR cases per day (can increase to 20 with GI/endoscopy cases)
Qualifications:
- Active or eligible Indiana license
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Broad clinical experience preferred
