Under the general direction of Company Leadership, the Prefabrication Manager will oversee all aspects of Hayden Power Group's prefabrication operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of prefab assemblies to support field operations. This role will lead strategic planning for the Prefabrication Department, develop process improvements, and manage personnel to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The Prefabrication Manager will work closely with project managers, estimators, field leadership, procurement, and design teams to align prefabrication efforts with project schedules and organizational goals. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered. Completion of a 2-year electrical vocational program preferred. 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, including 3+ years in prefabrication management or supervisory roles. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience required. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Advanced knowledge of electrical construction processes, National Electrical Code (NEC), and prefabrication best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software; Revit experience a plus. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements. Financial acumen for budget development, cost control, and ROI analysis. Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and team development. Ability to initiate and manage projects independently. Experience in both prefabrication and office environments. Understanding of how departmental work supports overall organizational goals. Successful track record managing various sizes of commercial electrical projects.
Must be comfortable working in both office and active shop environments. Frequent visits to job sites and field operations. Must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. Exposure to standard fabrication tools, equipment, and materials. Occasional extended hours or weekend work to meet critical deadlines.
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Travel as needed to jobsites, supplier facilities, and training events. Background checks, screenings, and physicals.
